Our device tracks the live location of hikers to ease the process of finding a lost hiker. Main objective is to ensure a safety hiking environment in Malaysia that sends you a frequent update on the whereabouts of the hikers via long range communication (LoRa).

It is cheap to produce, can be produced in mass amount and easy to use which can make it easy to be commercialised.
Dataless Communication
Uses LoRa system to send information to the authorities, enabling communication in areas with weak signal strength.
Sustainability
Solar panel equipped allows the prototype to perform for longer periods of time without requiring attention from the authorities.

Overall, these small GPS loggers provided a flexible and relatively cheap method of tracking hiker's location, and the LoRa system allows dataless communication with the auhtorities. Our device could help authorities save money in rescuing hikers and also allows hikers to be rescued quickly.
